Lush Crush

Lush is a brand that I have loved for a long time now. Not only are the products that they make ADORABLE (see hatching chick bath bomb below) but the brand is also known for being environmentally cautious, raising money for charity (see the "charity pot" below), using biodegradable packaging, standing up for equal rights, AND they do not use animal testing. So much awesomeness in one brand!

Come on. How cute is this.

Something really cool that they are doing right now is making "self-preserving" products. Many preservatives that are used in beauty products, when washed down the drain, can cause damage to the waterways over time. These self-preserving products have the same shelf-life as the regular products but are not causing any harm to the environment.

Lush's charity campaigns are so impressive. They are always looking for a way to take a stand which is really amazing.

Lush raised $300,000 USD for the Friendship Fund with their limited edition Hand of Friendship Soap.

Their limited edition bubble bar raised $70,000 for Freedom to Marry so they could continue their amazing work, and customers signed more than 7000 postcard petitions.

From the products that I have tried, I can also say that the quality is great. I always keep a Lush hand lotion on my bedside table. My only complaint is the priciness. Sigh. Shop my current wishlist and some of my favorites below:
